I.L.R. NURSERY

In 2006, Mike and Rhonda began propagating and growing trees and shrubs. With their love for nature, they began collecting a variety of seeds and cuttings which they carefully selected. Many of their species were also collected through pre-construction salvage programs. Using their plants in large scale habitat restoration, stream rehabilitation, parks, trails, residential and commercial landscapes made them take on the next part of their journey to starting a full scale nursery. Many of the species grown at the nursery are used in urban and interface areas where Riparian Areas are being affected as well.

With water conservation being a huge concern in BC’s Interior the use of Native Plants is a way of achieving our goals of land preservation.

In addition to being a commercial wholesale supplier we are opening our doors to the public in Spring 2010. The nursery is located in beautiful Lake Country where people can come and see what Nature has to offer.

Mike and Rhonda’s commitment is to provide you with quality native plants that you can enjoy and take on a whole new look at nature and water conservation.

Due to the Nature of Native Plants, we recommend planting in Spring or Fall. Proper planning and planting allows for success.
